Elegant necklace with colorful pendant. On a Venetian necklace that has a very good gold plating.
Due to the combination of enamel and a precious stone (garnet) the gold plating of the pendant is more fragile so it should not be worn in water of exposed to perfume or other cosmetics.

It will also not be possible to re-gold plate it
