This Is Us necklace — with freely moving 14K gold beads on a silver chain.

The This Is Us Collection symbolises f(r)amily systems and the invisible threads that connect us. Inspired by Els van Steijn’s book De Fontein, this collection honours the constellations we are part of: partners, parents, children, friends, the people who shape our lives.

In this new version, a sterling silver anchor chain is combined with solid 14K gold beads that move freely.

I mixed silver and gold since the very beginning of NIMZU. For me, the two precious metals naturally balance each other. Gold carries warmth and radiance. Silver brings calm and softness. Together, they create harmony, much like the balance that exists inside relationships: Close together, yet able to shift, the way relationships often work best. The beads can be added or removed, because relationships evolve. Expansion, change, and growth are part of the human journey.

Each bead can represent a person, a moment, or a bond that matters.
